Cupping Therapy

Silicone or vacuum cups create a decompression effect on the soft tissue — lifting the muscle rather than compressing it. This increases blood flow, draws fresh oxygen to the area, and helps shift stubborn tightness and stagnation that deep tissue alone can't always reach. Often combined with deep tissue for a more complete treatment.

Muscle Scraping

Also known as Gua Sha or IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation). A specialist stainless-steel tool is used to detect and treat restrictions in the fascia and muscle fibres. Particularly effective for scar tissue, repetitive strain injuries, and areas of chronic tightness that have built up over years of training.

This is the session I recommend for anyone preparing for or recovering from a major event — Hyrox, a marathon, or a heavy competition block.

All sessions are delivered at your home, gym, or workplace. Adrian brings a professional treatment table, oils, and specialist tools. Sessions are available across London — get in touch to confirm availability in your area. A small travel supplement may apply for locations outside central London.

What you might want to know

  • Adrian will arrive with a professional portable treatment table and set up in your chosen space. He'll start with a brief consultation to understand your goals, any areas of concern, and your training history. The treatment itself is firm but controlled — he'll check in with you throughout to ensure the pressure is right. Most clients feel noticeably different by the end of the session.
  • A clear area of roughly 2.5m × 1.5m is sufficient for the treatment table. A lounge, bedroom, or spare room all work well. Adrian will set up and pack away efficiently — no fuss and no mess left behind.
  • Deep tissue work involves firm pressure and can feel intense in areas of tightness — that "good pain" sensation. It should never be unbearable. Adrian constantly checks in with you and will always adjust the pressure to stay within your comfort zone. Most clients describe it as "productive discomfort" — and feel significantly looser afterwards.
  • This depends on your training volume and goals. During heavy training blocks, every 2–3 weeks is ideal for maintenance. In the weeks leading up to a race or event, a session 5–7 days before works well. For acute tightness or injury prevention, a one-off session can make a huge difference. Adrian can advise you personally when you book.
